Whole Abdomen

LIMITED STUDY DUE TO EXCESSIVE BOWEL GASES

LIVER:

Liver is seen normal in size measuring 14.2 cm .The outer contour is smooth showing homogenous

parenchymal echogenicity with regular margins. No focal solid or cystic mass is seen. Intrahepatic biliary

ducts are not dilated. Portal vein measures 0.9 cms.

GALL BLADDER:Normally distended gall bladder seen with no thickening of walls. No calculi, mass or sludge is

seen in the lumen. No pericholecystic fluid is seen. CBD has normal calibre

PANCREAS:Partially visulaized due to gases….. the visualized part appears unremarkable.

SPLEEN:Spleen appears normal in size , measures 10.5 cms. The outer surface is smooth with homogenous

echotexture. No focal mass is seen.

KIDNEYS:Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position. Outline is smooth and well demarcated. Normal

parenchymal texture seen with intact cortico medullary distinction.

Right kidney measures 10.1 cm x 4.4 cm with cortical thickness 0.6 cm…. few concretions are noted with

minimal fullness. No proximal hydroureter observed

Left kidney measures 10.5 cm x 4.9 cm with cortical thickness 0.7 cm,. No mass or calculus noted. No

hydronephrosis or proxial hydroureter observed

URINARY BLADDER: Insignificant at the time of scan

CONCLUSION:

• Limited study suggests left renal concretions with fullness
