Whole Abdomen

LIVER:

Liver is seen normal in size measures 13.9 cm. The outer contour is smooth showing homogenous parenchymal

echogenicity with regular margins. No focal solid or cystic mass is seen. Intrahepatic biliary ducts are not

dilated. Portal vein measures 0.8 cms.

GALL BLADDER:

Normally distended gall bladder seen with no thickening of walls. No calculi, mass or sludge is seen in the

lumen. No pericholecystic fluid is seen. CBD has normal calibre

PANCREAS:

It’s normal in shape and size with normal homogenous echotexture . No focal mass, cyst or calcification seen.

The pancreatic duct is not dilated.

SPLEEN:

Spleen appears normal in size , measures 9.7 cms. The outer surface is smooth with homogenous

echotexture. No focal mass is seen.

KIDNEYS:

Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position. Outline is smooth and well demarcated. Normal

parenchymal texture seen with intact cortico medullary distinction.No calculi or hydronephrosis is seen in either

kidney. Upper parts of both ureter not seen dilated.

Right kidney measures 10.1 cm x 3.9 cm with cortical thickness 0.8 cm

Left kidney measures 10.7 cm x 4.6 cm with cortical thickness 0.8 cm

URINARY BLADDER:

It is well distended it shows normal wall thickness. No calculus mass or sludge is seen.

UTERUS:

Normal in size measures 7.6 cm x 4.3 cm x 3.6 cm with central linear endometrium measuring 0.7 cm. No focal

mass or lesion noted in myometrium.

OVARIES AND ADNEXA:

Both ovaries are normal in size shape and volume.

Right ovary measures 2.7 cm x 2.3 cm

Left ovary measures 2.6 cm x 2.1 cm

No mature follicle or cyst noted.

Bilateral adnexa is clear. No free fluid noted.

CONCLUSION:

• No gross abnormality noted in liver, gall bladder, spleen, pancreas and both kidneys

• Normal pelvic scan
