Whole Abdomen
LIVER:
Liver is normal in size measures 16 .3 cm
with raised echogenicity, smooth echotexture and regular
borders.No focal solid or cystic mass is
seen. Intrahepatic biliary ducts are not dilated. Portal vein measures
1.0 cms.
GALL BLADDER:
Two mobile echogenic foci are noted in the
lumen largest one measures 1.7 cm. Wall thickness is within
normal limits. No pericholicystic fluid
noted. CBD measures 0.2 cm
PANCREAS:
It’s normal in shape and size with normal
homogenous echotexture . No focal mass, cyst or calcification seen.
SPLEEN:
Spleen appears normal in size , measures
10.4 cms. The outer surface is smooth with homogenous
echotexture. No focal mass is seen.
KIDNEYS:
Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and
position. Outline is smooth and well demarcated. Normal
parenchymal texture seen with intact
cortico medullary distinction.No calculi or hydronephrosis is seen in either
kidney. Upper parts of both ureter not seen
dilated.
Right kidney measures 10.7 cm x 5.0 cm with
cortical thickness 0.8 cm
Left kidney measures 11.9 cm x 5.2 cm with
cortical thickness 0.9 cm
URINARY BLADDER:
Insignificant at the time of scan
CONCLUSION:
• Fatty liver grade - II
• Cholelithiasis…… no sonographic evidence
of cholecystitis noted at the time of scan……..
however in symptomatic patients, clinical
and lab correlation is advised
