LIVER:

Liver measures 15.0 cm, appears hypoechoic with altered echotexture. Margins appear regular. Two

well defined hypoechoic non homogenous lesions are noted in the right lobe. ……..The one in segment

IV measures 3.4 cm x 3.2 cm. No calcific ant or significant increase in vascularity noted……… The other in segment VII is iso to hypoechoic ,measures 4.5 cm x 4.3 cm. mild calcification and vascularity seen.

Intrahepatic biliary ducts are not dilated. Portal vein is borderline measures 1.4 cm ( UPPER LIMIT 1.5 cm).

NO ascites noted.

GALL BLADDER:

Few mobile echogenic foci are noted in the gall bladder. Largest one measures0.8 cm. Wal thickness is

increased. No pericholecystic fluid is seen. CBD has normal calibre measures 0.3 cms.

PANCREAS:

Pancreas shows non- homogenous echotexture +/-….. However it measures within normal limits. The

pancreatic duct is not dilated.

SPLEEN:

Spleen is enlarged measures approx 16.3 cm.

KIDNEYS:

Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position. Outline is smooth and well demarcated. Normal

parenchymal texture seen with intact cortico medullary distinction.No calculi or hydronephrosis is seen in either

kidney. Upper parts of both ureter not seen dilated.

Right kidney measures 12.0 cm x 4.0 cm with cortical thickness 0.9 cm

Left kidney measures 13.0 cm x 4.2 cm with cortical thickness 0.9 cm

• No free fluid is seen in the abdomen.

URINARY BLADDER:

Empty at the time of scan

CONCLUSION:

• Hypoechoic , altered echotexture of liver with two well defined lesions, Borderline Portal

vein , non homogenous echotexture of pancreas with Splenomegaly……previous records with

clinical correlation and  Trophasic CT adbomen advised for further evaluation.

• Cholelithiasis with cholecystitis+/-……..clinical and lab correlation is advised
