LIVER: Normal in size & shape, showing
smooth margins with homogenous echogenicity. No focal
mass is seen. No intrahepatic duct
dilatation seen. Portal vein appear
normal in caliber.
GALL BLADDER: Well distended showing
sonolucent contents. Normal wall thickness. No focal mass
or calculus is seen. No stone is seen in
its lumen.
PANCREAS: Normal in size, shape &
echogenicity. No focal mass or calcification is seen. Pancreatic
duct is not dilated.
SPLEEN: Normal in size, shape &
echogenicity. No focal mass is seen.
RIGHT KIDNEY: Axial length 10.1 cm.
Cortical thickness 1.3 cm. Normal in
size, shape, position &
echogenicity. Smooth in outline. Normal
sinus echoes. Cortico-medullary distinction is intact. No
focal mass, cyst or calculus is seen. No
hydronephrosis or proximal hydroureter noted.
LEFT KIDNEY: Axial length 10.0 cm. Cortical
thickness 1.4 cm. Normal in size, shape,
position &
echogenicity. Smooth in outline. Normal
sinus echoes. Cortico-medullary distinction is intact. No
focal mass, cyst or calculus is seen. No
hydronephrosis or proximal hydroureter noted.
URINARY BLADDER:. Sonolucent contents.
Normal wall thickness. No focal mass or calculus is
seen.
There is no ascites or significant
abdominal lymphadenopathy.
CONCLUSION:
Ultrasound whole abdomen appears normal.
