Whole Abdomen
LIVER:
Liver measures 13.4 cm with raised
echogenicity, altered echotetxure and regular borders. No focal solid or cystic
mass is seen. Intrahepatic biliary ducts are not dilated. Portal vein measures
1.0 cms. No portal vein
thrombosis is seen.
GALL BLADDER:
Normally distended gall bladder seen with
no thickening of walls. No calculi, mass or sludge is seen in the lumen. No
pericholecystic fluid is seen. CBD has normal calibre measures 0.2 cms.
PANCREAS:
Partially visualized due to gases…… the
visualized part appears unremarkable.
SPLEEN:
Spleen appears normal in size , measures
7.6 cms. The outer surface is smooth with homogenous
echotexture. No focal mass is seen.
KIDNEYS:
Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and
position. Outline is smooth and well demarcated. Bilateral
parenchymal echogenicity is slightly
raised, however corticomedullary distinction is appreciated
throughout th elength of kidneys. No
calculi or hydronephrosis is seen in either kidney. Upper parts of both ureter not
seen dilated.
Right kidney measures 9.4 cm x 3.6 cm with
cortical thicikness 0.8 cm
Left kidney measures 9.2 cm x 3.9 cm with
cortical thickness 0.8 cm
• No free fluid is seen in the abdomen.
URINARY BLADDER:
Empty at the time of scan
CONCLUSION:
• Fatty liver grade - I with altered
echotexture…….. LFT advised
• Renal parenchymal changes grade- I……RFT advised
