Upper Abdomen

LIVER: Liver is borderline enlarged measures 16 .0 cm . Normal parenchymal echogenicity an

dechotexture. Margins are regular. No focal mass or cyst is seen. Intrahepatic ducts and veins are

not dilated. Portal vein measures  0.8 cms.

GALL BLADDER:Normally distended gall bladder seen with no thickening of walls. No calculi, mass

or sludge is seen in the lumen.  CBD measures  0.25 cm.

PANCREAS:It’s normal in shape and size with normal echogenicity. No focal mass, cyst or

calcification seen. The pancreatic duct is not dilated.

SPLEEN: Spleen is enlarged measures 14 .0 cm

KIDNEYS:Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position.Normal parenchymal thickness and

texture. No calculi or hydronephrosis is seen. Ureter not seen dilated.

Right kidney measures   10.8 cmx 4.3 cm with cortical thickness 0.9 cm

Left   kidney measures  11.1 cm x 4.6 cm with cortical thickness 1.0 cm

• No free fluid is seen in the abdomen.

CONCLUSION:

• Borderline hepatomegaly ….LFT advised

• Splenomegaly……. CBC and clinical corerlation is advised

GA 7 weeks+ 6 days) Single intrauterine fetus having CRL 14.4 mm corresponding to 7 weeks+ 5 days +/- 1 weeks by scan Fetal cardiac activity seen Fetal movements seen INCIDENTAL FINDING : A well defined anechoic cyst is noted in the right ovary measuring 4.0cm x 2.8 cm.
