BOTH KIDNEYS:

Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position.

Outer capsule appears smooth and intact.

Normal parenchymal texture seen with intact cortico medullary distinction.

Renal cortex has homogenous echotexture and normal width throughout the entire length of both kidneys. No hydronephrosis is

seen in either kidney.

Multiple hyperechoic structures are seen in both kidneys suggestiv of microliths at the time of scan.

Right kidney shows microlith measuring 0.3 cm at lower pole.

left kidney shows multiple microliths largest one is 0.3 cm at the mid calyx level.

Upper parts of both ureter not seen dilated.

Right kidney measures 8.7 x 4.2 cms. Cortical thickness 1 cms.

Left kidney measures 9.4 x 5.1 cms. Cortical thickness 0.99 cms.

URINARY BLADDER:

Urinary bladder is seen well distended at the time of scan.

Lumen shows no pathology like any calculi or focal mass.

The bladder wall thicknes is seen with in normal limits 0.26 cm.

CONCLUSION:

both kidneys show microliths.
