KIDNEYS:

The right kidney is smaller in size but normal shape and position.

Right kidney measures 4.7 x 2.7 cms with parenchymal thickness of 0.4 cms.

Left kidney is compensated measures 11.4 x 6.4 cms with parenchymal thickness of 1.5 cms.

Normal parenchymal thickness and texture. No calculi or hydronephrosis is seen on right side. Ureter not seen

dilated.

The left kidney shows dilatation of proximal urerter as well as hydronephrosis suggestive of distal ureteric

obstruction.

URINARY BLADDER:

Normal urinary bladder. No calculus, mass, urinary bladder wall thickening seen.

CONCLUSION:

Hypoplastic right kidney.

Compensated lleft kidney with fullness of collecting system at the time of scanning.
