KIDNEYS:

Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position.

Right kidney measures 7.4 x 2.8 cms with parenchymal thickness of 0.8 cms.

Left kidney measures 6.9 x 3.7 cms with parenchymal thickness of 0.9 cms.

Normal parenchymal thickness and texture. No calculi or hydronephrosis is on the right side seen. Ureter not seen dilated.

The left kidney shows moderate hydronephrosis due to a large calculus measuring 1.9 cms in proximal left ureter.

URINARY BLADDER:

Normal urinary bladder. No calculus, mass, urinary bladder wall thickening seen.

CONCLUSION:

The left kidney shows moderate hydronephrosis due to a large calculus measuring 1.9 cms in proximal left ureter.

Clinical correlation advised.
