KIDNEYS:

Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position.Normal parenchymal thickness and texture

• Right kidney measures   10.0 cm  x3.8 cm with cortical thickness 0.7 cm. Few concretions with

minimal fullness is noted. No proximal hydro ureter observed.

• Left kidney measures   11.5 cm x 5.2 cm with cortical thinning , ranging from 0.3 cm to 0.5

cm.  Marked hydronephrosis with proximal hydroureter is observed. An echogenic focus

measuring 1.4 cm is noted in the dilated ureter approx 6.5 cm  from renal pelvis , ureter

beyond it is not seen due to overlying gas shadows.  …..  suggestive of  obstructive ureteric

stone.

URINARY BLADDER:

Well distended at the time of scan. No wall thickness, calculus , mass or sludge noted.

Full bladder volume:  160 ml                       

Post void volume: Insignificant

CONCLUSION:

• Right renal concretions with minimal fullness

• Left ureteric calculus with Grade IV hydronephrosis and proximal hydroureter……… CT KUB
