Abdomen & Pelvis

LIVER :

Liver is enlarged measures 16.6 cm with raised echogenicity, smooth echotexture and regular

borders. Intrahepatic ducts and veins are not dilated. Portal vein measures   0.98 cms.

GALL BLADDER:

Normally distended gall bladder seen with no thickening of walls. No calculi, mass or sludge is seen

in the lumen. CBD measures  0.24 cm.

PANCREAS:

It’s normal in shape and size with normal echogenicity. No focal mass, cyst or calcification seen. The

pancreatic duct is not dilated.

SPLEEN:

The size and texture are normal measures   9.2 cms. The outer surface is smooth.

KIDNEYS:

Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position.Normal parenchymal thickness and texture. No

calculi or hydronephrosis is seen. Ureter not seen dilated.

Right kidney measures   10.0 cm x 4.6 cm with cortical thickness 0.7 cm

Left   kidney measures    10.8 cmx 5.0 cm with cortical thickness 0.8 cm

• No free fluid is seen in the abdomen.

URINARY BLADDER:

Well distended at the time of scan. No mass or calculus noted. wall thicknessi within normal limits.

UTERUS :

Normal in size measures 6.5 cm x 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm wih central endometrium ,measures 0.4 cm.

Normal homogenous myometrium, no focal lesion noted.

OVARIES AND ADNEXA:

Right ovary measures 1.8 cm x 1.2 cm

Left ovary measures 1.9 cm x 1.2 cm

Bilateral adnexa is clear No free fluid noted.

CONCLUSION:

• Hepatomegaly with grade - II fatty changes

• No pelvic pathology noted
