Abdomen & Pelvis

LIVER:

Liver is normal in size measures 15 cm.. The outer contour is smooth. Normal parenchymal

echogenicity. No focal mass or cyst is seen. Intrahepatic ducts and veins are not dilated.  Portal vein

measures  0.9  cm.

GALL BLADDER:

Normally distended gall bladder seen with no thickening of walls. No calculi, mass or sludge is seen

in the lumen. CBD measures   0.2 cm.

PANCREAS:

It’s normal in shape and size with normal echogenicity. No focal mass, cyst or calcification seen. The

pancreatic duct is not dilated.

SPLEEN:

The size and texture are normal measures 10.3    cms. The outer surface is smooth.

KIDNEYS:

Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position.Normal parenchymal thickness and texture. No

calculi or hydronephrosis is seen. Ureter not seen dilated.

Right kidney measures 11.5 cm x 3.9 cm with cortical thickness 0.8 cm

Left   kidney measures  10.9 cm x 4.8 cm with cortical thickness 0.8 cm

• No free fluid is seen in the abdomen.

URINARY BLADDER:

Normal urinary bladder. No calculus, mass, urinary bladder wall thickening seen.

UTERUS:

Uterus is retroverted measures 6.5 cm x 2.9 cm x 2.8 cm

Normal myometrial texture and thickness. No focal lesion seen. 

Endometrial thickness is normal with linear central cavitary echo measures 0.8 cm

BOTH OVARIES:

Both ovaries are normal.

Right ovary measures 2.7 cm x 1.6 cm 

Left ovary measures  2.6 cm x 1.8 cm

ADNEXAE:

No adnexal mass or free fluid is seen.

CONCLUSION:

• No abnormality noted in liver, gall bladder, pancreas, spleen and both kidneys

• No pelvic pathology noted
