abdomen and pelvis

 Abdomen & Pelvis LIVER:Liver is enlarged measures 16.1 cm with raised echogenicity, smooth echotexture and regular borders. No focal  solid or cystic mass  is seen. Intrahepatic biliary ducts are not dilated. Portal vein measures 1.0 cms. GALL BLADDER:Normally distended gall bladder seen with no thickening of walls. No calculi, mass or sludge is seen in the lumen.  No pericholecystic fluid is seen. CBD has normal calibre measures 0.2  cms. PANCREAS:Partially visualized due to excessive gases….. the visualized part appears unremarkable. SPLEEN:Spleen appears normal in size, measures   10.1 cms. The outer surface is smooth with homogenous echotexture. No focal mass is seen. KIDNEYS:Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and position. Outline is smooth and well demarcated. Normal parenchymal texture seen with intact cortico medullary distinction. No calculi or hydronephrosis is seen in either kidney. Upper  parts of both ureter not seen dilated. Right kidney measures 9.1 cm x 3.4 cm with cortical thickness 0.8 cm   Left   kidney measures  9.0 cm x 4.0 cm with cortical thickness 0.8 cm URINARY BLADDER:Normal urinary bladder. No calculus, mass, urinary bladder wall thickening seen. UTERUS:Uterus is anteverted, measures 4.6 cm x 3.1 cm x 2.5 cm Normal myometrial texture and thickness. No focal lesion seen. Endometrial canal is normal with linear central cavitary echo.measures 0.4 cm BOTH OVARIES:Both ovaries are normal. No mass or cyst seen Right ovary measures 1.7 cm x 1.0 cm, Left ovary measures 1.6 cm x 1.1 cm ADNEXA: No mass noted bilaterally, no free fluid noted.
